Military Discount Program Registration

As a special thank you to military personnel, the Derby Chamber of Commerce, Wichita Metro and Andover Chambers and Wichita Independent Business Association sponsor a special discount program for area merchants and businesses. Businesses that meet the following requirements can participate in the Military Medallion program.

Businesses must offer at least a 10 percent discount to active duty military, guard and reserve members of the armed forces and their families. Some merchants may also offer discounts to military retirees.

Regulated businesses (such as insurance companies and banks) may display the Medallion window cling as a participating merchant but discounts or military service benefits may vary from business to business depending on the laws governing their industry.

Businesses can apply for and register in the program through the Derby Chamber of Commerce or one of its partners (Andover Chamber, Wichita Chamber, Wichita Independent Business Assoc.)

Each community will list their business participants on their local Chamber of Commerce Web site.
