The Young Professionals of Derby will be out and about showing their Community Involvement. On this day, YPD will help to clean the Charles Hubbard Environmental Lab (CHEL) that was donated for Derby Public Schools to use as an outdoor classroom. We will be there all day, so feel free to stop by at your convenience! Wear comfortable clothing since we will be working outside all day.

Consumption Junction, Chamber’s annual fund-raiser, attracts over 400 people from the community. This event showcases area businesses that donate approximately 200 items for the silent and live auctions. Thirteen local restaurants and caterers will provide samples from their menus for attendees to enjoy while placing their bids throughout the evening. The venue is Mattox arena, an indoor heated facility. Tables for eight can be reserved in advance which guarantees a seat for the live auction or individual tickets can be purchased for $15 each or $20 at the door the evening of the event.
