Event Description: Fall into quilting with a carload driving to 10 quilt shops in Derby, Hutchinson, Newton, Salina, Severy, and Wichita. Each year a fabric is exclusively made just for the Central Kansas Quilt Shop Hop. This exclusive fabric is made into 10 different quilts, allowing each quilt shop to feature their talent. The more quilt shops you attend, the better your chance for winning prizes. Check out our website to view fabric, participating quilt shops, map, passport, and 10 quilts designed just for this shop hop. Just choose which quilt shop you want to begin the shop hop fun through central Kansas. Store hours for Friday and Saturday are 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. Whether you are a novice or experienced quilter, this is a great weekend to see new quilt patterns, fabrics and notions. Plus, it is just fun to travel both rural and urban Kansas.
