- There will be 8 total racing heats - (6 qualifying heats, 1 Championship heat & 1 last place heat).
- The first 6 ducks to cross the finish line during the 6 qualifying heats will move on to the Championship Heat. These winners will be posted on Facebook after each heat.
- The Championship heat will be 36 ducks. The first 3 ducks to cross the finish line will win the grand prizes. This race will be live streamed on Facebook - @DerbyChamber
- All none winning ducks will race together in the last place heat, where the last duck to cross the finish line will win.
