The Derby Chamber of Commerce is proud to have a strong and engaged group of Chamber Ambassadors who help build connections and support our local business community. If you are looking for a way to become more involved, the Ambassador Program is a great opportunity to expand your network while representing and promoting the Chamber.
What Is the Ambassador Program?
Chamber Ambassadors serve as official representatives of the Chamber, welcoming new members, attending ribbon cuttings, supporting events, and helping members stay connected. Throughout the year, Ambassadors earn points by attending Chamber events, volunteering, inviting guests, and sharing Chamber news and posts on social media. Points are tracked and recognized, with top Ambassadors receiving recognition and prizes for their engagement and commitment.
Who Can Become a Chamber Ambassador?
Any representative of a current Chamber member business may join the Ambassador Program at no cost, at any time.

Point System
• Recruit a New Chamber Member: 10 points
• Attend a Ribbon Cutting: 5 points
• Attend a Chamber Coffee: 3 points
• Attend an After Hours: 3 points
• Attend a Monday Mingle: 2 points
• Volunteer Your Time: 1 point per hour
• Share Our Social Posts: 1 point each
Simply participate how you can throughout the year to earn points. Every event you attend and every point you earn helps support the Chamber and strengthen our local business community. Your points will count toward quarterly and annual recognition and prizes at the end of the year.
Top point earners will receive quarterly recognition on social media. Annual top earners will receive special recognition at the December luncheon, social media recognition, and featured recognition on the Chamber Ambassador webpage the following year.
